Alexandros Kallegias

 

 

 

 

Alexandros Kallegias:(Programme Head) is an architect currently teaching at the Architectural Association (AA), and the University of Oxford Brookes and having taught at the University of Liverpool (2013-2015). He is the Programme Director of AA Greece Visiting School, AA Athens Visiting School, and Co-Director of AA Summer DLAB. He is a Senior Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects, acting as BIM Coordinator for different projects in different countries. He received his MArch degrees from University of Patras in 2000 (High Honors), and AA Design Research LAB (DRL) in 2011. His work has been published as well as presented in conferences around the world like SimAUD and eCAADe among others and he has been an invited in juries like the Archiprix 2015 in Ankara. He is a registered architect in the UK and in Greece.

 

YueShi

 

 

 

 

 

Yue Shi: is currently working at Zaha-Hadid Architect London as a senior desinger. He holds a Master degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Design Research Lab (DRL) at the Architectural Association in London (2010- 2012). Prior to this, Yue Shi has completed the Bachelor degree in Architecture at Beijing Jiaotong University in 2010.During his study at the AA, Yue Shi has developed his skill in digital generative tools and computational design methodology. He has brought his expertise into diverse range of projects and competitions across Asia, Middle east and North Africa during his practice at Zaha-Hadid Architects.

Pierre Bianchi: is currently working as a warranted architect in Malta. He holds a Masters degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Design Research Lab (DRL) at the Architectural Association in London (2014- 2016). Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor degree in Engineering and Architecture at the University of Malta in 2011. Over the years he has developed an interest in computational design where during the group Thesis at the AA he furthered this interest by exploring the opportunities that the Industrial Robotic Arm offers in conjunction with inflatable plastics. Professionally, Pierre has worked with various teams on a variety of projects be it cultural commercial and residential.

 

George Varoudakis

 

 

 

 

 

George Varoudakis: (KAM Coordinator) studied decorative arts at the Athens Technological Group (Doxiadis School) and architecture at Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in Denmark (1979). In 2014 undertook president of the Municipal Gallery of Chania. Since 2016, George is the President of Mediterranean Architecture Centre (KEPPEDICH – KAM). George also works with his brother Aristomenis in Chania, Crete, where they run their architectural practice since 1981.

 

Leonidas Manolikakis

 

 

 

 

 

Leonidas Manolikakis: (KAM Coordinator) is a stage director and an actor, who completed his studies in 1984 at the Drama School of Athens ‘Giorgos Theodosiadis’. Leonidas is the Manager of cultural affairs for the Culture Benefit Business, Environment Municipality of Chania – Mediterranean Architecture Centre (KEPPEDICH – KAM). From 2007 Leonidas also works at the DIPETHE Crete, Children’s Theatre Workshop. http://leomanol.blogspot.co.uk/
